Summer!

Who says the sun doesn't shine in Oregon? A few weeks ago we were down and Grandma and Grandpa's house and we busted out the pool. Just look at how good I look in my fantastic bathing suit and sweet shades. 

 Grandma, Mom, and Clara spent their day in the shade. But just look at Clara's face, she totally wants to get into the water. Maybe after she takes swimming lessons.

 Other new happenings. Clara and I are working on getting our pilots licenses. We've been taking some lessons with Grandpa and here Clara is doing her pre-flight checks. I'm pretty sure we'll have 1,000 hours by the end of the summer. Then we'll be ready to work on our take-offs and landings.

 Clara has started eating solid food. She is in for a treat, mom makes AWESOME meals!

 Mom is going to start working part time so she can spend 'more with us. So Clara and I figured we'd better brush up on our business knowledge so as dad says "we can start pulling our own weight"

 We have even had some visitors already this summer. Dad's Aunt Holly and cousin Danielle came to visit last week. They went to a ranch in Bend to learn about a program for at risk children and abused horses. Sounds like a great place. We didn't get to go with them, but I'm looking forward to riding my first horse.

Well, that's all for today. We're headed to Grandma and Grandpa's this weekend for Father's day. Poppop if you're reading this, your card is in the mail....
