it is a 100 year old four square in Laurelhurst, compared to our 102 year old craftsman cottage in Irvington. That's what "new" means to us.
The cool thing is that Clara and I have gotten to spend quite a bit of time together sharing a room, but all of that is about to change. By about I mean we're getting ready to kick off a 9+ month remodel.
I've been through this once before, and it was no issue at all. Dad says "All good things come in a bottle!"
Before we even start, we're getting rid of the "Party Room" in the basement:
Then we'll move onto the Kitchen and Dining room:
Don't worry the hutch is just moving, but we're keeping it
A new master Bedroom for Mom and Dad:
Then FINALLY, Clara and I will get our own rooms and a new bathroom:
We'll even have a space for guests, SO COME VISIT!!!
I'll keep you updated on our progress as a lot has to come out before new can go in. Dad says "Don't you just love old houses?"
